Finova Inventory Management: Track Stock, Purchases, and Sales in Real Time

Finova's inventory module gives you real-time visibility into your stock levels, purchase orders, and sales. Every purchase invoice automatically updates stock. Every sales invoice automatically reduces it. No manual stock counting needed.

Setting Up Your Item List

Go to Inventory → Items → Add Item. For each product, set the item code, name, unit of measure, standard rate, and minimum stock level. Add a barcode for fast scanning. Finova supports thousands of SKUs with no performance issues.

Purchase Orders and GRN

Create a Purchase Order in Finova and send it to your supplier. When goods arrive, create a Purchase Invoice against the PO. Stock levels update automatically. Partially received orders are tracked — you always know what's been received and what's pending.

Sales and Stock Deduction

When you create a Sales Invoice in Finova, the inventory is automatically deducted. If you try to sell more than you have in stock, Finova warns you. Returns via Sale Return automatically add stock back.

Stock Reports

Finova's inventory reports include: Stock Summary (current levels), Stock Ledger (movement history), Low Stock Alert (items below minimum), and Stock Valuation (cost of inventory at any date).
